How pickup works at Doré — and how to make sure your cake makes it home warm.
The two-day rule
Every cake takes two days from your order to your hands:
- Day 0 — You place your order.
- Day 1 — We bake by hand, in small batches.
- Day 2 — Your cake is ready for pickup.

How you'll know when to come
We DM you the day before pickup to confirm a one-hour window that works for you. If you ordered without leaving an Instagram handle, we email you instead.
Late pickup
If you can't make your window, message us as soon as possible. We hold cakes for up to 24 hours past the agreed window — after that, the cake is forfeit (we bake fresh, we don't freeze).
No-show
If you don't show and don't message us within 24 hours of your scheduled window, the order is considered abandoned and is not refundable.
Local delivery
Houston-area delivery is available for an extra fee. DM us your zip code for a quote before placing your order.
No shipping
We don't ship. Basque cheesecake is meant to be handed over, not boxed and trucked.
